A long time ago, in a district not so far away, I sat fidgeting on a wooden pew, in Holy Cross Church, waiting for the mass to end so I could race across the road to the newsagent on the corner of the entrance to Old Ardoyne, where I could pick up a copy of the latest Planet Of The Apes Weekly.
